Steamy Hot/Cold

You look out of the window. Hazy, misty and fogged up window. Dense water vapour evaporating on the screen. It makes you chill just by looking at it. And then you wonder. What temperature could it possibly be to give such an effect in Malaysia?

It is not Genting Highland, nor is it Cameron. It's the window of Casa Subang's bus (aka Casa's bus) you see when you travel from USJ all the way to Bandar Sunway. A journey that may take you from 15 minutes to 1hour.

We sat/ stood in the bus, squashed up like sardines, body heat radiating from each and every corner, smell of sweat loomed in the air, Bollywood songs amplified through speakers, snail's pace traffic, vehicles lined up from bumper to bumper-situation tense and overwrought.

You can feel the temperature increases with every ticking of the watch. Shirts are damped to the skin with bags sandwiched in between two of these. Anger, frustration, annoyance are written on faces of all. In this situation, even talking uses a lot of energy. Some found Zen (like me for instance) while others could not bear with it and hence directed their fury through actions rather than speech. Some are worried for they might be late for class, the geeks wouldn't let this time gone for nothing and had their nose stucked in Advance Biology For You. However, there are always people like Chai and me who rather sit back, relax and enjoy some music.

This is how I travel to college today.

Cheers. =)
