I've recently realised one thing. One of the way to recognize a Convent JB girl is a Pilot pen and a PLUS correction tape. Blame it on the bookshop aunty who promotes PLUS correction tape every single time we are there. (as if we have never heard of it)
EXAM saviour= PLUS correction tape
EXAM sinner = PLUS correction tape
How many times have you realised that you have run out of it in the middle of a examination and you have to borrow it from someone beside you. And if the person beside you does not use this particular brand of correction tape, the "scan" for correction tape starts.
~teet~teet~ teet~
~TEET TEET TEET TEET TEET~
Aha! Found it!!
The hand automatically goes up.
An invigilator approach.
"Excuse me, teacher. Can you please borrow THAT correction tape for me?"
The answer that we dread the most...
"Please don't use a correction tape. Just cross out your answer."
Before you know it...
Invigilator approaches the stage...
"Attention please. Please don't use a correction tape. Just cross out you answer." (still looking this way)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We will never appreciate something until we lose it. I bet you have heard this like a million times throughout your life, but try putting this statement in this situation.
The night before your MAJOR exam...
~hah... a little more to go... GAMBATEH!!
~TAT~
..... trying to feel my way around.... ouch! I pricked my finger on my mechanical pencil!!
Damn!! Where's that
!@#$ing electrical box or whatever you call it.
Found it!!
Switch..... ON!
No lights??
Again~
Switch... ON!
What?? No lights again??
Just one more time... Switch... ON!!!
Damn!!
I climb down the chair slowly for as if my weight has increased exponentially in the dark.
Only one thing in my mind now, that is to get the torchlight from my room.
I roam in the darkness... bumping here and there along the way....
In the midst of hurting myself, I keep thinking who the heck proposed the idea to use a torchlight during blackout?
Why couldn't they see the main problem???
How could we see the TORCHLIGHT in the dark?? and when we can't see it, how can we use it??
A sudden thought of the movie "Night at the Museum 2" came into my mind.
where Ben Stiller introduce the "Glow in the Dark Torchlight" in the opening of the movie... and then I wonder... why something as basic as this is not made available and yet something as complicated as a digital "apple" is seen everywhere....
Speaking of this digital "apple", isn't is amazing the apple that drops on Newton's head and make him famous for his gravitational theory and the big apple that makes people craves for more is the same apple that allows us to Facebook in the midst of exam...
Coming back to exam...
~haiz~ Never gonna be my favourite word~~
Home Sweet Home....
Latest fad in Facebook:
To those who do not frequent Facebook,
this is just another application by Facebook that spam your inbox.
Don't bother checking it out.
English class today is as fun as usual...
Our young-at-heart (and of course physically as well) & lovely Ms. Karen has successfully made 20-odds teenagers join in the game of "Passing the Parcel".
This game certainly rings a bell doesn't it? Well, it used to be the "must-play" party game in our early childhood... It's just doesn't fall into place with the term "teenagers" right?
- When you are seven, what do you fear most when the box lands on your hand when the music stops?
- When you are seventeen, what do you fear most when the box lands on your hand when the music stops?
Sometimes, we do not realise that as we grow up some things remain unchanged and yet some changed dramatically.
I realise both in one single day.
When I was seven, giving a presentation on stage with thousands of eyes looking at you, hah... it didn't even crossed my mind. It only happens in the tv.
When I am seventeen, giving a presentation on stage with thousands of eyes looking at you, it felt as if I have been doing this since forever. The microphone fits in my hand as if it was made for it.
When I was seven, the last thing I want to get in that "Pandora Box" is to sing or dance in front of others.
When I am seventeen, I felt the same.
*you must be wondering what did I actually get during the "Passing the Parcel"game... haha... It's the most ridiculous thing I have ever gotten....
"...Debate with Sayed about the Cosmic Big Bang and win it..."
p/s: Sayed is a walking dictionary... no... he is a walking ENCYCLOPDIA.
Is this supposed to be the way it turned out?
For years you have not realised it till now,Is it too late?Or it shouldn't have been this way after all.The chattering of the classsroom is gone and never to be found again.it's like the final curtain call... never to be seen again.
Maybethis is fate....destinyreplaced by the commands to be followed.or maybe it's just parts and parcel of life."Never was and never will"
how true is this?Do you believe it?Or ratherDo you want to believe it?How close together certain strong emotions are?You wanted to cry but you end up laughing.Sometimes...It just happened without you realising it. The stronger the emotions, the closer they are linked together.It's like a knot but all tangled up.Do we see things as they are? or we see what our mind tells us to see?Do we have a choice to see what we want to see?Is it possible that our subconcious mind protects us, by blocking out what our mind doesn't want to see?Where's the support when the light dims out?Can the done be undone? If it could, do you want it to be undone?Would it be appreciated?Again, time is not on our side.It's not ours to begin with.Is fate something we can control?If yes, why?If no, tell me.All in all...
Is there a need to find out?or
do you wanna find out?I want. not.
I have to blog bout this~~
